Cherokee Nation Environmental Programs (CNEP) is a tribal resource of environmental professionals working together to preserve and protect both our human and natural environments.
Our mission – to protect, preserve, and restore in a sustainable manner our Nation’s naturally diverse ecosystems for the health and benefit of future generations.
Through research, monitoring, and data collection and analysis, CNEP can identify adverse changes to soil, water, and air quality that may be impacting our communities or natural environments. This is achieved by the various programs that CNEP administers.
